A Bugged Out Mix By.. – Miss Kittin

Label: Resist Records

Another short, sharp shock of electric from the leftside. Raising the pace slightly on last weeks ‘Get Lost!’ compilation is the latest ‘Bugged Out Mix’ session, this time from that kitsch, camp, eurotrashing record pusher, Miss Kittin.

The third in Resist Record’s ‘Bugged Out’ series following Erol Alkan (2005) and Felix Da Housecat (2003) the globetrotting sexoid Miss Kittin has subtitled her own mix session ‘Perfect Night’, a  representative mix of her current club style which is by turns ambient, luxurious, minimal, and squarely bangin’ out loud.

Sprinkled with a little of everything, from the weirder, less compromising Si Begg and Luke Vibert, through to the feisty pop know-how of the Two Lone Swordsmen the album tugs a tripwire of techno bombshells and electro dreams featuring Curve, The Chemical Brothers, Adam Beyer, Squarepusher, My My, DJ K, Princess Superstar, Static, Le Car, Front 242, Acrosome, Sixtoo, Baby Ford, Armando, Baby Ford, Villabos and Milanese.

Purrfect indeed.
