Beck | Tracklisting for the new Beck album out in September plus news of a tour.

The new Beck album, simply entitled ‘Beck’ is due out on September 24th on Interscope.
Produced by Nigel Godrich and with contributions from Dan the Automator (Gorillaz) among others, the album is said to be the first of two records Beck has plans on releasing.
With a host of guest musicians and a string players and (you’ll be surprised) recorded in just under two weeks in and around Los Angeles, the album out in September is said to veer toward the acoustic lo-fi balladry of ‘Mutations’. The second is rumoured to whack out ‘da funk and groove of 2000’s Midnite Vultures.
Joining Beck are of course regulars like Smokey Hormel (guitar), Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (keys), Justin Meldal-Johnsen (bass), and drummer Joey Waronker
As was the case with ‘Mutations’ Beck’s father, David Campbell, is known to have arranged the strings for several tracks on the album.
Early reports on the album suggest a loose and improvised feel, with one or two quirky gum-balls to chew up the mix a little.
Beck is expected to tour soon after the album’s release with a few preview sets scheduled for sometime in August at smaller venues.

A rough track list is said to run thus:

All in Your Mind
Side of the Road
Guess I’m Doing Fine
Paper Tiger
Already Dead
Round the Bend
Lonesome Tears
Little One
Nothing I Haven’t Seen
Lost Cause
The Golden Age
Sunday Sun
Ship in a Bottle
